One thing up front: we do not hire out costumes and we have no characters of our own. What you book is the performance, not the costume. Your people already know yours — a stranger’s character would not mean anything to them.

What you book is not somebody who fits into a costume, but somebody who can perform inside one. We come from performance and bring the craft that makes a character come alive.
We take on your character, not some generic one. Posture, walk, favourite gestures, what it does and what it would never do — we agree all of that in advance and hold it for the whole booking.
Inside a costume there is no facial expression. Everything runs through body and timing: shifting weight, waiting, being surprised. That is a craft you learn — and it is the difference between a character that lives and someone who waves.
From an entrance routine to a full stage number. We learn choreography and can still do it when the music starts early.
Children, guests, press. Anyone who is frightened is not pushed; anyone who wants a photo gets one. We read the situation instead of running through a script.
Where the character allows it and safety permits: jumps, slapstick, agreed set pieces. Always discussed beforehand, never improvised at the costume’s expense.

All prices are starting prices. What a booking actually costs depends above all on duration: one appearance block at a club event is a different thing from a trade-fair day with six of them. Add to that the work for choreography or filming, if you need it. Send us the date, the location and the planned duration — and you get a firm figure, not a range.
All prices are quoted plus travel. Within 50 km of Duisburg travel is included; beyond that we charge €0.50 per kilometre from Duisburg. From roughly 300 km an overnight stay is added: €80 to €120 per night, against receipt and with nothing on top. You get the total in the quote beforehand — not as a surprise on the invoice.
No. We perform in your costume. We do not hire costumes out, and we have no characters of our own.
30 to 45 minutes per block, with 15 to 30 minutes of break in between. Exactly how long depends on the day: in high summer, in packed halls and in heavy costumes we go to the lower end; in cool weather to the upper.
The break is not negotiable. Inside a costume the temperature sits well above the air outside, the field of view is narrow and hearing is muffled — stay in too long and you get careless, and careless is exactly what you do not want from your character. We lay the blocks out around your programme in advance.
